Therefore we commit ourselves to responsible restructuring and to take into account the interests and concerns of all of those affected by the restructuring process, for example, by safeguarding employees’ rights, vocational retraining and ensuring the establishment of procedures for information-sharing, dialogue, co-operation and partnership. |

We at Haywood De Bruyn Attorneys believe in investing in our community and improving the lives of our people through our Corporate Social Responsibility Programmes. We see giving back to the community as a fundamental component of being a member of it. Our community involvement activities is able to reach out to a range of individuals, charities, schools, educational authorities and community partners to meet the diverse needs in our city.
We provide financial contributions to charities that support those in need in our community. Our partners and staff volunteers’ time and resources to various community projects.
In addition we sponsor various activities in the community.
We encourage employees to be active in the community in their own right and to this end operate a flexible working policy which permits staff to use a certain amount of working time each year to devote to charitable activities.

We believe that each individual must have access to legal representation and advice hence we provide legal and business advice without charging a fee or at a discounted rate. We are aware that Haywood De Bruyn must play a leading role in addressing the needs of individuals in this regard.
Additionally we assist non-profit organisations which support disadvantaged communities. Each partner supports selected cases in his/her area of specialisation.
